How can trusts/foundations better support Criminal justice organisations?

This is a short survey designed to help funders better understand the needs of charities and organisations operating in the criminal justice sector and it should take no more than ten minutes to complete. As this is an anonymous survey we would appreciate your perspective on where you feel services or interventions are underfunded, regardless of whether they are carried out by your organisation. Where possible please distinguish between things that you feel should be funded by the State versus other forms of funding.
1.What type of organisation do you work for?
2.Would you describe your organisation as a specialist organisation working primarily with...
3.What are your organisation's primary areas of work? (Please tick all that apply)
4.Approximately how much of your income derives from trusts/foundations?
5.Are there groups of people in contact with the criminal justice system that funders should focus on more than they do currently?
When answering this question please try to take a view of the whole sector rather than the needs of your specific organisation, unless it is representative.
6.Should trusts/foundations seek to directly influence criminal justice policy and practice? If so, how? If not, why not?
7.Are there any stages of the criminal justice system that don't get enough attention from trusts/foundations?

8.Are there grant types, such as unrestricted/core etc. that you think are underutilised from trusts/Foundations? If so, what are the benefits of these grants?
9.Are there activities trusts/foundations could undertake to support the criminal justice voluntary sector aside from funding?
10.This is an anonymised survey but we may wish to quote one of your answers in documents that are made widely available (i.e outside of the ACF Criminal Justice Network) Please indicate whether you would be happy for us to do so.
11.Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey. Your answers will be used to help the Association of Charitable Foundation's Criminal Justice Network improve their work, and practices.

If you would like to receive a copy of the survey findings, please enter an appropriate email address below. The email address will not be shared or used for any purpose other than this, and once the survey results have been sent out, your data will not be kept.
