Devon FA Inclusion Advisory Group Application

Devon County FA are looking for people to join our Inclusion Advisory Group, the role of which is to:

• Advance equality of opportunity for all groups

• Ensure the player, referee and coaching base is inclusive and reflective of the local community

• Eliminate unlawful discrimination, bullying, harassment and victimisation

• Foster good relationships with community groups

The Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG) will provide independent advice towards these aims and assist Devon County FA with its planning. The IAG will also assist Devon FA to measure the impact of equality and anti-discrimination work.

Members of the IAG will be expected:

• To provide independent guidance and advice generally on matters of equality

• Have or be able to make positive contacts within local communities & relevant organisations

• To attend up to 4 meetings annually (which are likely to be outside of normal working hours)

• Have an understanding/experience of grassroots football
