Would you be interested in helping us care for the Common in any of these ways? Tree pruning. The newly planted fruit trees along the Elm Grove side of the Common need to be cared for. We can offer free expert tuition if you'll commit to one pruning session a year. Tree watering. During very dry spells, the new trees will need the occasional bucket of water. Best for those who live along Elm Grove! Litter picking. We currently organise one litter picking session a year. With more volunteers, we could do more. Local publicity. Can you help by asking local shops to put up posters, or by delivering leaflets to your neighbours? Or getting our events on local websites? Could you hand out leaflets at your club or society? Joining the Committee. Everything we do needs planning, organising and people to have ideas. We need digital and social media skills as well. The more heads and hands, the more we can do for the Common.
