Wales' Third Sector Digital Insight Survey (NEWID)
Introduction
Thank you for taking the time to complete this Third Sector Digital Insight Survey. By doing so you are helping to shape the future of third sector services in Wales and how they can be improved by using digital.
We define 'digital' as "Applying the culture, practices, processes and technologies of the Internet-era to respond to people’s raised expectations." (Tom Loosemore, 2017)
We're reaching out to the third sector in Wales to gather baseline data on the use of digital technology across the sector.
We are asking third sector organisations to complete this survey for two reasons: -
1) To enable us to gain an understanding of the digital needs across the third sector in Wales.
2) To enable us to provide individual organisations with the information, support and resources needed to ensure that they reach their full potential.
Privacy Statement We will ask for your organisation name, estimated turnover and location. These are to ensure that you receive the correct set of questions and also assist us to filter results and avoid duplication. We also ask you for your name, job title and email address (although these questions are still optional), so that we can keep in touch with you and provide you with information relevant to supporting you on your digital journey. We will not share these contact details with anyone.
Only anonymised results of this survey will be shared with our partners in the Newid project; ProMo-Cymru, WCVA and the Welsh Government.
You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to use your data at any time and ask us to delete your data.
To exercise all relevant rights, queries or complaints please in the first instance contact the Wales Co-operative Centre’s Director of Corporate Services on 0300 111 5050 or via email info@wales.coop or at Y Borth, 13 Beddau Way, Caerphilly, CF83 2AX.
