Purpose of the study
I am conducting this study to identify whether there are any predators consuming invasive decapod crustacean species in the Thames catchment area. This questionnaire is being carried out to a) collect eyewitness accounts of the consumption of invasive decapods by predators, and b) collect accounts of invasive decapod crustacean remains found within the Thames freshwater catchment area. If you choose to take part there will be a consent form for you to read and complete, and the survey should then only take about 10 minutes. Your answers will be recorded and then analysed as part of my Masters research project.
If you have any questions at any point please feel free to get in contact using the information provided above. If you have multiple sightings to report please retake the questionnaire as many times as necessary or contact me.
Your participation in this questionnaire is entirely voluntary. Participation can be anonymous and is completely confidential. The data provided will only be seen by myself and my supervisor and will be kept in a password-protected file. Personal information, including your name will not be stated anywhere in my thesis and will be destroyed at the end of the project.
You are able to withdraw from the questionnaire at any time without giving reason.
