Peer Learning session: Moving out of lockdown: implications for your volunteer programme
Thursday 3rd June, 10.30am - 12.30pm, FREE on Zoom

Government COVID-19 restrictions will be easing further on 17 May and 21 June.  What are the implications for your volunteer programme?

Join this interactive peer learning session to share experience and ideas with other local organisations on the changes they are making and planning to their volunteer programmes, including:

 ·        Resuming volunteer recruitment

·        Bringing back clinically vulnerable and older volunteers

·        Possible criteria for engaging volunteers e.g. mandatory COVID-19 testing or vaccinations

·        COVID-19 safety measures in the context of changing government guidelines

·        Safely resuming face-to-face volunteering and/or retaining some virtual volunteering

·        Adapting volunteer roles e.g. indoors, outdoors or virtual

Venue: Zoom (the meeting link will be sent to you when your place is confirmed)

Cost: Our Peer Learning is kindly subsidised via a grant from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH).  VCTH is committed to providing Peer Learning free-of-charge during the pandemic.  However, we charge a £50 fee for late cancellations and no-shows to ensure that limited training places are not wasted.
