Thank you for visiting the #PurpleLightUp pledge page for 2019.

#PurpleLightUp is a global movement designed to celebrate the economic empowerment of disabled people. It is driven by disabled employees and disability networks and resource groups and across business and government alike, it has become synonymous with International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) held annually on 3rd December.

#PurpleLightUp started off from a single tweet from PurpleSpace CEO Kate Nash OBE back in 2017 and the best way to get involved is by taking to the social media airwaves and using #PurpleLightUp on and around 3rd December. We’ll be particularly active on Twitter and Instagram. Read more on our #PurpleLightUp FAQ page.

We are also offering two alternative ways for any organisation who pledges to create a new disability employee network / resource group or to publicly promote an existing network/resource group to feature on our #PurpleLightUp 2019 pledge page.
