Stockport Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Review of SEND Services

Parents in Partnership Stockport (PIPS) are working in co-production with Stockport Local Authority to independently seek the views of parent/carers in Stockport of children and young people aged 0-25 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). If you would like to get in contact with PIPS please call 07786 101072 or email info@pipstockport.org this survey will close 1st May 2018

Over the next 3 years Inspectors from Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be inspecting all Local Authorities and Health services to see how well they identify children's Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, how well they meet those needs and how effectively they improve outcomes for those children and young people.

The views of a wide group of parent/carers are very important to us not just because of the inspection but because their views are at the heart of all improvements that we wish to make.

The survey should take no more than 20 minutes to complete and the information you give us is confidential and anonymous.

Please answer the following questions about how things are at the current time for your child or young person. The SEND reforms became law in September 2014 so please think about things from that date onward and not before then.

If you have more than one child with SEND then please complete a new survey for each child/young person.

If your child/young person does not have any input from Health or Social Care about their special educational needs and disabilities then please tick the not applicable box.
