MhIST is a peer led mental health charity that supports people to manage their mental health and wellbeing. We have received funding from the big lottery to allow us to consult with communities to establish what support they think is most needed and how and where they would like this to be delivered. We currently run a range of self-help groups in Bolton but feedback has shown that people would also like to be able to access support closer to home.

People have told us that their mental health has improved when they have become less socially isolated and able to talk to people who understand and have shared similar experiences. Do you feel that your mental health could be improved or do you know someone who is struggling with theirs?

We need to collect a few details but we really are interested in what sort of support is most needed in your community. One the back we have listed the groups that we currently run and a few other ideas however these are only ideas and we are interested in what YOU want.

Help shape the future of our community mental health self help groups and complete this survey.
