CPD Trainer Recruitment 2026 |

We are inviting freelance trainers (RTPI Members and industry partners) to develop CPD Training materials for RTPI Members.
The RTPI Core CPD Framework is the foundation of our RTPI Training content.
The RTPI Training Team will provide for the Trainer:
- Guidance on CPD training content writing for our platform
- Technical training for webinars, online workshops, and delivery via our learning management system
- Learners' management and technical administration for the training
- Technical Host for all virtual classes to support the Trainer and facilitate the group activities
Trainer's Person Specification:
- MRTPI with 10+ years experience as a chartered planner, or member of other professional membership body with similar level of Subject Matter Expertise
- Specialist knowledge and work experience in the topic you want to train on
- Track record of meeting strict project deadlines
- Confident speaking in front of a group audience (fluent English with good articulation)
- Great communication skills, including talking to time
- Advanced level presentation skills
- Have 2-3 years experience training others at work
- Experience writing training guidance notes and delivering presentations, webinars and live workshops for groups of professional learners, in both virtual and classroom environments
- Natural aptitude and passion for training, mentoring, coaching, and supporting others' professional development
