Over the next few years £7.2 million is being invested in improving customer’s homes.

This improvement work will take place between 2019-2026 and includes new kitchens, roofs, fencing and gates, boilers and painting. This work will take place regardless of any other work to the wider estate and customers have been notified.

In addition to this, Irwell Valley Homes is also looking to build new homes and improve the estate. We would like your feedback on these plans.

Working with partners, we hope to secure funding and planning permission to build new affordable homes and improve the roads, pedestrian and cycle routes, and invest in high quality open spaces and landscaping.


In December 2019 we will be submitting plans for the first new homes and first phase of the improvements to the estate. We need to raise £13 million for this work. If we raise the funding needed, this will take place between 2020-2022. We will also be working on phase two, once phase one is complete.
