Why we process your personal data. Advanced Bionics will only process you’re your personal data (name, email address, address), and to the extent we legally need to - based on your consent and if we are legally required to do so. We will also use your name and email address for marketing purposes, but only if you indicate you want us to below.
How we treat your personal data. Advanced Bionics may share your personal data with affiliated Advanced Bionics entities in Europe, but also in Switzerland (where our headquarters are) and the United States (where we have a department that monitors service and quality). Your data may also be shared with entities in other countries, but only if necessary. In case we need to, we share your personal data with trusted third parties as well. Advanced Bionics ensures your personal data is protected at the same level as it would be in your home country. We have agreements with all involved parties to make sure no one uses your data in an illegal way. All our employees are required to follow these rules, and are regularly trained. We have secured our systems with modern protection and restricted the access. We will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this notice, or as long as required by local laws.
You have rights. At any time, you have the right to be informed about the personal data Advanced Bionics has of you and to ask for correction or deletion of your data. You can also withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason and without any negative impact on any of your rights. As far as we process your data for our legitimate interest, you can object against such processing. If technically feasible, you can also take your data with you (what’s called a “data portability extract”), and to ask that Advanced Bionics deletes your personal data. Please note, however, that we may be obliged by law or by agreement with you to keep some of your personal data, and/or that we may not be able to provide you with our services in case you don’t want us to use your data.

If you want to file a complaint about Advanced Bionics handling your personal data, we appreciate you telling us directly, but you can also contact your local Data Protection Authority.
