Background to Evaluate Ltd:
Evaluate Ltd is a well-established international provider of outstanding market intelligence services to the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industries and its advisors, through the EvaluatePharma®, EvaluateMedTech® and EP Vantage® brands. Our clients in Pharma & Biotech, Medical Devices, Banking and Consultancy regard our products as the industry’s gold standard for timely and accurate analysis of reported drug and medical devices sales, consensus sales forecasts, R&D pipeline and comprehensive company financials.
The Role:The Company has grown consistently and dynamically over recent years and is committed to a continuation of growth through high levels of investment in new products and services. We are investing to complement our core subscription offering with a range of customised services. These services include custom datasets, analytical services (e.g. benchmarking, market analysis) and data management services (e.g. custom data feeds, curation).
Responsibilities:
Take ownership for discrete pieces of work to support delivery of client projects, including:
Data-gathering (from Evaluate core datasets and external sources, e.g. press releases, government websites)
Structuring, cleansing, analysing and interpreting data
Creating ‘zero-defect’, client-ready output in appropriate format (mainly Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Supporting client queries and follow-up on the project deliverables
Managing own workplan, including required inputs from supervisor, other internal stakeholders and clients
Support development of ‘repeatable models’ for Services, e.g. help document project approach, develop standardised templates and drive automation based on learnings from projects delivered (e.g. by developing analysis specifications and templates that can be easily repurposed)
Work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation to help bring the ‘best of Evaluate’ to the Services offering as required, e.g. UK core analyst team, IT development team, our off-shore partner, global sales team
Support proposal development, e.g. creating sample output
Requirements:
New or recent graduate (minimum 2.1 degree in a quantitative subject)
Some relevant work experience desirable
Interest in / knowledge of pharma industry
Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good attention to detail
Effective time-management / ability to meet deadlines
Collaborative team player
Energetic, positive self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to travel as required
Eligible for work in the UK
The role is London based but with some travel as required for client engagements.
