This survey is designed to gather feedback from GPs about potential gaps in understanding of children and young people’s mental health services.
National prevalence data suggests that there are approximately 18,700 children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough up to the age of 16 with mental health problems - 13,600 in Cambridgeshire and 5,100 in Peterborough.
It is acknowledged that the landscape of local support services is difficult to navigate and, at times of ever increasing demand, we are attempting to make the services easier to access to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
The results of this survey will help us to develop clear and useful information to share with you about how to access, or signpost to, the right services for your patients.
Thank you in anticipation for taking the time to complete this short survey.
