  • We only accept scripts from writers originally from or based in Merseyside
  • All submissions must be original scripts written for the stage: we cannot accept radio, TV or film scripts. We also do not accept poetry, prose, adaptions of existing works

* The Homotopia award is open to plays by writers who identify as LGBTQIA+, and cover LGBTQIA matters in the submitted play. One winning writer will receive a £500 seed commission and a professional reading or workshop with Homotopia in collaboration with Everyman and Playhouse.
