The Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) has been assisting West Dunbartonshire Council by running a series of informal discussion events in various venues across Clydebank, Dumbarton and the Vale to discuss community empowerment and the development of a strategy and action plan which will support people to become more involved in their communities.
The draft strategy has been developed and written for everyone who lives in West Dunbartonshire. As well as the wider community, the strategy has been prepared with support from key partners including the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), Police Scotland (PS) and West Dunbartonshire CVS (WDCVS).
