Visibility of role models from under-represented backgrounds and identities are critical to ensuring others feel they can be themselves.

We are committed to ensuring that the diversity of the LGBT+ community is reflective of our Top 10 shortlist, particularly in representing the '+' in 'LGBT+' and intersectional identities including race, gender and sexuality.

This year we are encouraging all those who nominate to include a second nomination to address under-represented part of our diverse community.

Maybe there's another colleague who just joined your ERG that shows some great promise, or someone you don't work as closely with who is advocating for an ethnically diverse LGBT+ agenda.

If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the team at admin@britishlgbtawards.com.
