The five Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in the NHS Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership are conducting a review of the Children's and Young People's Continence Service.

The service helps children and young people with bowel and bladder problems. These include:
  • Constipation where children do not poo regularly or do not completely empty the bowel.
  • Soiling or overflow where hard or liquid poo can leak out of a child's bottom
  • Daytime wetting where children have wetting accidents
  • Bedwetting
  • Delay in a child showing signs of readiness to begin using the toilet
This survey is to gather information about your family's experience of the Children and Young People's Continence Service and seek your ideas as we plan future services for mid and south Essex.

If you have more than one child receiving support for continence issues, please complete separate surveys for each child.

CLOSING DATE FOR SURVEY: 9 September 2021
