Proffitts are delighted to be working alongside Rossendale Borough Council, Friends of Whitaker Park, the Whitaker, Civic Pride, Rossendale Leisure Trust and incredible edible Rossendale on plans to improve Whitaker Park in Rawtenstall. Together, we've created a draft masterplan for improvements and we've had some great feedback from residents and visitors about what the priority areas for the park are.
One of the first improvements being considered is a project to upgrade the play offer for children. This would involve improving the existing play area, and adding a new junior play space within the park too. As you can see from the draft plan below, the play areas will be in separate locations in the park. We'd now like to find out what you think about these ideas, and find out what you think should be included in the design of a new play space.

The survey only takes a couple of minutes to complete, but it will help make sure that we get the design right for you.

Further information about the wider Whitaker Park Improvement Project, and a larger image of the draft play space masterplan if needed, can be found here.

Thank you for your time.
