1. Welcome to My Survey
Everyone knows that Raunds is expanding rapidly, this will undoubtedly place pressure on community facilities. The Town Council is therefore considering the provision of a new facility, we envisage that this would focus on the needs of young people and wellbeing.
The Vision for Raunds identified facilities for young people as a key issue for the town, so the Town Council now want to dig deeper into this issue and see if anything has changed.
The Council has been lucky enough to secure the services of an architect free of charge, this has helped us understand planning constraints associated with various sites, the possible building costs and made the council consider other factors such as the outdoor space that may be required, storage, security of the site and so on. We now need input from local groups and clubs to really understand what you need.
We are not asking anyone to commit to using the facility, but we want to gain a better understanding of potential demand and user requirements so we would be grateful if you could either complete the short survey (attached) or go https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/M57L8LM and complete online, we look forward to hearing your views. But we would ask that you understand that at this stage the council cannot commit to developing all or any part of such a facility as this will be subject to planning and permissions.
Once we have compiled the questionnaires the next step will be to meet with interested parties, so we will be in touch, we ask you in the questionnaire if you would be interested in sharing your thoughts in person.
