Employment in the industrial and logistics sector

As an occupier and operator within the industrial and logistics (I&L) sector, your business understands first-hand the huge importance of the sector to the UK economy. Unfortunately, however, the UK Government still doesn’t fully understand the value or needs of the I&L sector and many political stakeholders maintain negative perceptions about the type and number of jobs provided.

St Modwen Logistics, working in partnership with Savills and the UK Warehousing Association, is keen to challenge these perceptions, ensuring that the needs and importance of the I&L sector are both understood and adequately supported by Government. That’s where we need your help.

By completing this short survey, you will help us prepare a robust and comprehensive jobs and skills report, that clearly outlines the diverse range and number of job opportunities provided by the sector. This report will help us change perceptions at both a national and local level and help raise the profile of our sector as an important employer and contributor to economic growth. The responses provided will be used to inform a response to an upcoming Government consultation as well as to lobby more proactively for the sector.

Please be assured that any information you provide will remain confidential and will be anonymised so that individual responses cannot be identified.

The survey should be completed for one building only, in England or Wales. To provide details for more buildings, please make separate submissions.

The survey should take you less than ten minutes to complete.

Many thanks
