Introduction

Alopecia UK is very lucky to have some fantastic supporters who hold fundraising events throughout the year. Occasionally we are contacted by individuals looking for a charity representative to attend their event. With our limited staff and volunteer resource, it is not always possible to get someone along. We wish to develop a network of charity representatives who would be happy to attend events to speak about Alopecia UK, perhaps mentioning their own experience with alopecia (if applicable) or maybe simply taking part in a cheque presentation.  If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please read on and complete the survey.

Essential skills:  strong people skills, strong communication skills, friendly, supportive, comfortable with different groups of people, a good understanding of alopecia and what Alopecia UK does.

Desired: Experience of public speaking (not essential)

What we will provide to you: Factsheet about the charity, Alopecia UK t-shirt, possible contribution to your travel costs (although looking for local volunteers who can ideally cover their own travel to keep charity costs to a minimum)

The application form is comprised of four sections to be completed and should only take approximately 10 minutes...
1)  Basic Details
2)  Volunteer Role
3)  Your experience
4)  Emergency contact details

Amy will be in touch after she has reviewed your survey responses to confirm if you will be added to Alopecia UK's representative list. If successful, if any opportunities arise to represent Alopecia UK, she will be in touch with details to see if you are available to help.
