101 Residency Enquiry

Thank you for your enquiry about our residencies.

 We host a year round programme of artistic residencies which we offer on an in-kind basis to companies and individuals making work for the outdoors. We reopened in July and since then have been working with companies & artists to create opportunities or the development of work to continue in a safe and considered environment.

We typically look at the calendar on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month with the 101 team to discuss new requests (this may vary in peak periods). The following questions will help us to get a better sense of your project and requirements. Once we have this info we can discuss your request in our next meeting and get back to you.

6.When would you like your residency to be - either a general month or preferred weeks you're able to come?

7.Approx. how many people do you think will stay & how many cabins will you need?

INFO: We have 15 en-suite cabins including 1 accessible/ family cabins. Larger groups requiring more cabins may be trickier to place as it means we are less likely to be able to host another group at the same time.

Cabins be shared or twinned beds for couples and those from the same household.

9.Give a description of the project (this can be brief: type of material/ artform, stage of creation i.e. rehearsal R&D, new show or remount etc).

10.What are you planning to do at 101 and what would you need in the space?

For example will you be bringing a set with/ will you be doing dance or movement work/ do you require PA/ lights/ rigging etc.

This will help give us a sense of which of our rehearsal spaces will be suitable for you.
11.Is the project funding dependent? If yes, when will you know details by?
12.Will you require any technical support while at 101? E.g. use of workshop, rigging advice, technician or assistant, etc (fees may apply in these areas)
13.Will your group be self-catered or would you like us to arrange catering? (costs apply for catered meals)
