Scottish Carer's Assistance - Carer's Allowance Supplement
1.
The Scottish Government already pays £231.40 to carers receiving Carer's Allowance twice a year. This is called 'Carer's Allowance Supplement'. This payment will continue into the future.
The payment is currently made every 6 months, but the government thinks that it might make a change so the supplement would instead be spread throughout the year and made at the same time as the usual Carer's Assistance Payment on a 4 weekly basis as a kind of 'top up'.
Do you agree or disagree that the Carer's Allowance Supplement should be spread throughout the year and paid on top of the main payment every 4 weeks?
