Last year we were donated wonderful books bringing folklore creatures to young readers to sell by a generous, empathetic author, but this year marks the release of our first children's book made in-house.
Mamaloaf is packed with a meaningful story about how Bapsy and Mamaloaf came to be, seeding food for thoughts on how life continuously evolves and the changes we face, though at times scary and unexpected, are essential to our development. Yet it does not mean they cannot be a source of fun and deep learning.
Young and older readers will appreciate the compelling motherly Mamaloaf telling her story with care and gratitude for the environment she grew up in at various stages of her development and the people she has met along the way. The illustrations, drawn by a highly-gifted, indie illustrator, aid the story fully encompass the magic it seeks to project.
