As you will probably be aware the building of the Stirling Care Village is coming on apace, in fact it is ahead of schedule. There has always been a desire to ensure that the third sector and local community can make best use of the indoor and outdoor community spaces at the Care Village. SVE, in partnership with NHS Forth Valley, have been asked to find out how third sector and community groups might like to be involved with the Care Village. The Robertsons Website provides architects images of how the Care Village will look once completed. At this stage there is a great deal of flexibility about how the indoor community and outdoor green spaces could be used, with many potential health benefits for both service users and volunteers alike. This is a really exciting opportunity to influence how these spaces might be developed and how organisations and communities might become involved in the Care Village. Please be as creative and innovative as you like when completing the survey. There will also be a choice of two half day sessions in Dec to build on and develop the thoughts that emerge through this survey.
