A five-year-old boy was admitted following a series of tonic-clonic seizures. He was intubated and ventilated for transfer and antiepileptic medication instigated. He had been previously well other than developmental delay in his language skills at age three years. His speech had developed well with speech therapy and he was discharged from their care aged four. He remained well until suffering these seizures.

A CT scan was carried out and did not show any evidence of haemorrhage but did show an abnormal density in the left frontal lobe. An MRI was carried out (Figure 1 A and B).
