FASQUAL - Fire and Security Industry Competency Scheme Questionnaire

What’s FASQUAL?

The BSIA and FIA are developing a new registration scheme aimed at verification to industry Standards for fire & security contractors working across various sites and we need your help!

The plan is to create an independent centralised UK national database that holds qualifications, skills, experience, and vetting information on contractors operating in the electronic fire & security sector.

A scheme where the focus is on de-risking the question of competence and qualification of individuals and building a history / trust profile between contractors and their employers.

The scheme is being developed for the industry - by the industry. The co-chairs of the scheme are David Wilkinson of the BSIA & Will Lloyd of the FIA.

There are a number of workings groups that include organisations across the industry within the scheme, each with a nominated working lead.

The working group leads are as follows;
Fire and Security Integrators - Martin Watson, Mitie & Darren Gamage, Kings Secure Technologies
Training Associations - David Scott, Skills Security
Recruiters - George Zitko, Zitko Group

So we can get to the next stage on this exciting project we really want to hear your thoughts through our short survey – it won’t take long and it will play a crucial role in what will be a major development for our industry.
