Getting Your Paper Published: The Peer Review Process, Wed 5th April, 4-6.30pm. G03, 26 Bedford Way.

Academic publishing is a competitive field. It can be daunting for researchers starting their careers. This session focus on the peer review process. Several journal editors from across the Life Sciences and publishers from Elsevier will lead the workshop, sharing their experience as authors and editors, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the peer review process and handling reviewer comments.

The session will begin with a short introduction from Elsevier, and will then be followed by a discussion panel of scientists with experience publishing in a range of journals and across a range of topics. Finally, there is a break-out session where smaller groups will have the chance to discuss these issues with the panel members in a more private format.

Location: 26 Bedford Way, Ground floor lecture theatre G03
