Accessing support services to maintain health & wellbeing

Thank you for your help in collecting information about the support you provide.  I would also like to add a special thank you, to all those who attended our Champions Workshop and helped develop the list of barriers people face in accessing services to maintain health & wellbeing.

There are lots of potential barriers that can get in the way of people accessing preventative health care and this lack of access disproportionally affects some more than others, which in turn exacerbate health inequalities for people in our community.

As a Trusted Voices Champion we would like your help to explore both the barriers to accessing these services that the people you help experience and also to learn more about the support you put in place to help your community/service users to overcome these barriers and enable better access.  Your thoughts on what you could or would like to do to reduce these barriers, if you had the capacity, would also be welcome.  If you don’t currently offer this any of this support, your answers are still very useful and your contribution is still greatly valued.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to complete this survey – it should take approximately 4 minutes to complete (slightly longer if you wish to make comments).

Warmest regards.  Paula Bennetts & Hannah Rees
