This survey is designed to help us understand what we need to do to provide you with an enjoyable and safe visit to our museums when we re-open.

Although the Government has announced that museums and galleries can begin to open from 4 July, we want to make sure that we have everything in place so your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible. We will not be open from 4 July. As soon as we can confirm our dates, we will share these with you on our website.

When we re-open we will implement government guidelines to ensure visitor and staff safety. This will mean that your visit will be different to previous visits and may include limitations on when you can visit and how you can explore the museums during your visits. Changes will include social distancing measures such as one way routes around the museums to ensure visitor safety.

Currently we are planning to phase the re-opening of our museums. This will likely begin with Bristol Museum & Art Gallery and M Shed re-opening in a first phase. Due to additional imitations on space for social distancing, The Red Lodge Museum, The Georgian House Museum and Blaise Museum may re-open in a second phase.
