Ofsted / CQC review Survey Summer 2020 |
We would love to hear your views
This survey is for parents and carers, in Dudley, of children and young people aged 0-25 years with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
In Summer 2019 Inspectors from Ofsted and CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspected the Borough Council and Health services in Dudley to see how well they identified children's special educational needs and/or disabilities, how well they meet those needs and how effectively they improve outcomes for those children and young people. In preparation for this inspection 183 families completed an online survey to inform the inspection. A further group of passionate parents from various organisations and groups attended multiple meetings to ensure the voices of families were heard.
Inspectors are returning mid July 2020 to review current arrangements, improvements and future plans. The views of parents are still a very important part of this review. We ask that you complete the following survey once again A) So that inspectors really know what life is like for families in Dudley and B) To ensure that the Parent Carer can continue to work with the Local Authority and Health to improve services and communication. This survey will help us to reflect the views of a wide group of parents. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and the information you give us is confidential and anonymous.
Please answer the following questions about how things were pre Covid-19 and at the moment for your child or young person. We are looking for responses to reflect the past year only.
If you have more than one child with SEND (special educational needs and/or disabilities) then please complete a new survey for each child/young person.
If your child/young person does have any input from Health or Social Care about their SEND then please tick the Not Applicable box.
