Application Form

Disquiet Dog is a specialist digital marketing agency headquartered in south-east England, on the coast of West Sussex. Founded in 2014, the team provides a range of strategic and tactical marketing solutions to organisations in the fields of leisure, tourism and international education.

We want to be a force for good and ensure the impact we have as an organisation is globally positive. We want to support local charities and initiatives that are trying to achieve great things for people, places or planet.

Rather than just giving money, we can offer much more by using our skills to support those organisations who could do with our help in marketing and digital marketing.

What services are on offer?
We can offer any service within our competency that we would provide to fee-paying clients. It is anticipated that there will be a tendency for Operation Bernard to centre more on digital marketing courses, talks and presentations, and digital consultancy.  In all cases, the quality and commitment to the delivery of support under Operation Bernard will be deemed identical to that of fee-based work.

Is the support totally free?
Yes. We are offering limited free support to qualifying organisations (see below), and we will be looking to provide the best impact for the lowest investment of time, so we can help as many people as possible.

Is there a catch?
No. The only thing we'll ask in return is that you help us to publicise your initiative so we can amplify what you do, and also provide feedback on the services you've received to promote Operation Bernard.

Qualifying Organisations
Please note that the determination of whether or not an applicant is a Qualifying Organisation is solely at the discretion of Disquiet Dog.

We anticipate that we will support small registered charities, community initiatives, voluntary groups and individuals whose prime mission and primary operational activity is overtly charitable and directly serving the charitable cause, which, ideally, will be environmentally focussed.

We don't expect organisations which are well-established charities delivering products and services at market rates to qualify for free support under Operation Bernard.

A Qualifying Organisation is not a guaranteed recipient

Organisations which successfully qualify are not guaranteed to receive support through Operation Bernard. With a finite bank of hours available, the Disquiet Dog team will be the sole arbiter of how and when the available time banked is distributed. That said, please do complete the following short questionnaire, so we can find out all about you and work out how best we could help. Thank you for your interest!

1.What is your organisation, project or initiative's name?
2.What are your objectives, what value to do seek to deliver, and how will this help the wider world and environment?
3.Do you have a website or online space we can look at? Please paste links to any publicly available spaces.
4.What's your name?
5.What is the best way to contact you? Please supply details, e.g. phone number, email address...
6.And what role do you play for the organisation/project
7.Disquiet Dog offers marketing consultancy and support, and we have pledged to bank 1 hour of our time for every 10 hours of work we complete for our fee-paying clients. We will invest this time to further the cause of environmentally-minded, community-based projects we choose to support. We have a limited number of hours available, so please tell us what is currently your greatest need. What do you want to fix or improve urgently when it comes to the marketing and promotion of your initiative?
8.If we are able to support you, it makes sense that we should amplify your initiative where possible. Do you consent to provide the following:
Yes, of course
No, we can't do that
A high quality resolution logo, which Disquiet Dog can use on its website and materials
Your collaboration to write an organisational profile piece about you for our blog
Photos of participants or recipients
A Google review
Video, audio and/or written testimonial
Case study
9.Is there anything else you'd like to tell us at this time?
Next steps
Once we've reviewed your application we'll be in touch within two weeks to let you know whether you qualify and whether we can pledge time to your project. Then we'll connect (usually Zoom or phone) to agree on the best way forward. Thanks again for your interested in Operation Bernard and Disquiet Dog.
