Introduction

This is a survey to find out what you think about two animated films we are making.

The films are part of a larger project by the University of Glasgow where we are looking at ways to make research accessible to people with learning disabilities. We think everyone should be able to understand information that might be important to them.

These films have been co-created by people with learning disabilities, third sector partners, researchers at the University of Glasgow and media co-op.

You are going to look at both of the films, one after the other. You can take a break whenever you want!
How to read the storyboard

The films are not finished yet. At the moment, it looks more like a comic book - there is a script and pictures but no movement. In filmmaking, this stage is called storyboarding. You will be reading a storyboard.

The storyboard will look like this:

The visuals are on the left and the words that the narrator will be saying is on the right. If there is no voiceover (ie. the narrator isn't speaking) then the right side will be blank.

You have to use your imagination to picture how it will move from scene to scene!

Once you have read the storyboard, we will ask a few questions to understand what you liked and did not like about it. There are no right or wrong answers. We want to hear what you think.
