Information for Potential Participants

Welcome to the Health Student Experience Survey 2023. This survey will give your SU and University valuable insights into your unique experience as a Health student.

Your Students’ Union will be running a prize draw as part of this research, and you will be contacted you using your Student ID number if you are a successful winner. By entering your Student ID number, you are opting-in to the prize draw.

You will be asked questions about teaching, facilities, funding, your experience on placement, mental wellbeing, and future career aspirations.

By clicking next, you are consenting to take part in this research study, to help your SU and University better understand the needs of our diverse Health student community; to develop and deliver inclusive policy/services both institutionally and nationally, and to be able to identify and address any issues individuals may experience when accessing our services (including information about our services). It is important for us to know who our audience is so that we can better represent you and your needs.

We would therefore appreciate it if you can complete the section below, to enable us to analyse the responses to the survey. The resulting data will be presented anonymously, and we will take all steps possible to ensure you cannot be identified from your responses. We will ask for your Student ID number, which will allow us to track how many students take part in our research each year, and to ensure that each response represents one individual student.

Your Student ID numbers will not be published publicly and will be separated from your survey responses before analysis.

Please note that if you leave responses that lead us to be concerned for your welfare, we reserve the right to contact you confidentially to signpost you to appropriate support.
