Muslim Women’s Manifesto Survey |
To mark Muslim Women’s Network UK’s 20 year anniversary, we are launching a Muslim Women’s Manifesto with three demands, SOLIDARITY, INCLUSION AND SAFETY for Muslim women. We therefore want your views on what actions are needed to achieve these goals in different settings.
By taking part in this survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw and have a chance to win (one of three) £100 Love2shop vouchers. Be sure to leave your email address at the end of the survey if you want to be entered for the draw.
Whether it is in communities, by the public, in the workplace, in public services (health, education, criminal justice system etc), in the private sector, in sports / sports bodies, in the media, in arts & film, in academia, by professional bodies, by politicians, by funders, the charity sector, trade unions, or whatever the setting or industry, we want to know from you:
How can solidarity with Muslim women and girls be demonstrated?
How can inclusion of Muslim women and girls be demonstrated?
How can the safety of Muslim women and girls be improved?
How can inclusion of Muslim women and girls be demonstrated?
How can the safety of Muslim women and girls be improved?
When answering these questions which are listed again below with answers boxes, please tell us what actions you would like to see take place and by whom e.g. for inclusion it may be more Muslim women on NHS boards and for training made available to enable that; for safety you may want tech companies to take specific actions related to online hate; for solidarity you may want your workplace to highlight achievements of Muslim female staff etc. Please share as many examples as possible and be as specific as possible and you can focus on areas of particular interest to you.
