MIDSTEEPLE QUARTER, DUMFRIES TOWN CENTRE – REGISTER OF INTEREST FOR AFFORDABLE HOMES TO LET

Phase One of the Midsteeple Quarter masterplan delivery of 135-139 High Street, Dumfries is scheduled to complete in 2024. The development will be inclusive of seven energy-efficient apartments for affordable rent.

Construction is progressing well and it is hoped that people will be able to begin moving into their homes from summer 2024.

South of Scotland Community Housing (SOSCH) are working with Midsteeple Quarter to support the development of the community-led homes. In advance of seeking applications for tenancy, we are currently seeking REGISTRATIONS OF INTEREST from parties who would be interested in letting a STUDIO LIVE/WORK APARTMENT or TWO BEDROOM TOWN CENTRE APARTMENT from Midsteeple Quarter.

Please note that Midsteeple Quarter will be a car-free development and therefore no car parking will be made available. All apartments will be accessible by lift.

Should you wish to register an interest at this stage, we ask that you complete the short questionnaire below before leaving your contact details. Those that register will receive a full application pack in advance of the apartments becoming ready to let.

The formal application process is expected to open in April 2024. Everyone who has registered an interest in a tenancy will receive an email as soon as it does. The process of appraising and allocating tenancies will be carried out by Midsteeple Quarter, with support from South of Scotland Community Housing.
