About our survey

‘Making Safeguarding Personal’ in its simplest form means putting the person at the centre of a safeguarding enquiry. It is about engaging with people throughout the safeguarding process, considering the outcomes they want.
 
Your voice could inform future provisions to help 'Safeguard Adults at Risk'. Kingston Council  are keen to learn about your experience of the safeguarding service in Kingston and have asked Healthwatch Kingston to collect independent feedback. If you or a family member or friend, have used this service we are eager to hear your views. An anonymised report of our findings will be shared with local providers, commissioners and decision makers.

Healthwatch Kingston on behalf of Kingston Council, would like to find out about your experience of Kingston Council’s safeguarding service, as part of the Making Safeguarding Personal project.

A report will be produced on our findings, this will not include your name or contact details and we will keep the experiences shared with us anonymous, and your personal data confidential. Your anonymised feedback will also be used to complete the Making Safeguarding Personal quarterly return to the Local Government Association. We may include quotes from your responses in future Healthwatch Kingston reports however, any personal details will be removed.

Healthwatch Kingston will send this report to Kingston Council, all members of the Kingston Safeguarding Adults Board and other relevant decision makers to help improve the safeguarding service. Healthwatch Kingston will publish this report on our website and insights will be shared with Healthwatch England, who use anonymised findings to inform their national work.

What you tell us will be used and stored for the purpose of this project (as detailed above) and held in accordance with the Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames’ Privacy Policy which can also be provided in paper form on request via info@healthwatchkingston.org.uk. or by telephone: 0203 326 1255 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and please leave a message. We aim to respond to messages within 72 hours).
