At SurveyMonkey, we are committed to making a better future happen by leveraging our employees, products, and capital to support our communities. We recently formalized our computer hardware donation program as another means to support nonprofit organizations, giving new life to no longer needed computers, monitors and other computer accessories.
One successful donation was to Aerie Africa. This organization, founded in 2002, is a US-based non-profit organization, dedicated to providing a home for orphaned and vulnerable children in the Wolaita Soddo region of Ethiopia, located about 200 miles south of the capital.
A donation from SurveyMonkey of 12 MacBook Pros have brought a wave of transformation to their studies, empowering young residents with enhanced educational opportunities. These laptops hold the key to success in the students’ upcoming national exams, and for those graduating, they become essential tools for university studies and beyond. Meanwhile, the remaining laptops are accessible to all children in the home’s library, ensuring equal access to knowledge.
If your nonprofit is interested in requesting a laptop donation from SurveyMonkey, please complete an application. Hardware donations are awarded on a first come, first served basis as supply is available.
