By listening to how people actually build, publish, and share surveys, we found a few small but meaningful ways to make that journey feel faster and more intuitive.
Today, we’re excited to share updates to our navigation and publishing experience—designed to help you move from draft to live survey with less effort and more confidence.

Insights from your workflows
We looked closely at how our users build and launch surveys and a few clear patterns emerged:
- Your workflow has a natural rhythm: The way survey steps were organized didn’t always match the survey flow you expected. Aligning the steps with the way you naturally move from creation to collection helps make everything feel smoother and more intuitive.
- Getting to launch matters most: When a survey is ready, most creators want to publish quickly and share a link without stopping to think about where to click next. That moment—when a survey is ready to go—is critical, and it should feel effortless.
- Less visual noise helps you focus: Too many options at once can slow things down. We saw opportunities to simplify the experience so you can focus on building great surveys, not on navigating the interface.
Design decisions made with you in mind
With these insights in hand, our product and design teams focused on removing friction and making key actions easier to find.
A cleaner, more focused header
We streamlined the header to reduce distractions and create more room for what matters most: your survey. The new design keeps essential tools easy to access, while giving you helpful context like survey status and collaboration updates—so you always know where things stand without losing focus.
A faster way to publish
When your survey is ready, publishing should be simple. That’s why we introduced the “Publish survey” button—a one-click way to launch your survey and generate a shareable web link instantly. Instead of moving through multiple steps, you can now go live and head straight to your collectors page in a single action.
A workflow that matches how you think
We also reordered the survey-building flow to better reflect how projects unfold in real life. By making it easier to publish earlier, you can get your survey live as soon as it’s ready—then connect apps and refine distribution as needed.
