Teams Up with ePrize to Make Offering Sweepstakes and Coupons Easier for Survey Creators

Palo Alto, Calif., March 24, 2011 - Today SurveyMonkey, the leader in web-based survey solutions, announced the availability of incentive options for survey creators to enhance their surveys. To provide incentives aimed at driving increased survey participation, SurveyMonkey has teamed up with ePrize, a leading digital marketing agency, to provide a variety of custom coupons and sweepstakes utilizing their proprietary promotions platform. With the addition of this feature, SurveyMonkey seamlessly gives its customers timesaving and hassle-free tools to motivate respondents and get the data they need to make well-informed decisions.

Adding an incentive is available to ALL U.S. free or paid SurveyMonkey customers. For a small fee of $15 per incentive, individuals, corporations, non-profits, small businesses and schools, may insert the following types of incentives into their surveys:

  • Sweepstakes – Offer custom rewards or gift cards valued from $25 - $500
  • Instant Win Game - A weekly offering for one lucky respondent to win a $100 gift card
  • Coupon – Reward respondents with printable coupons designed by you

Two current SurveyMonkey customers, Weddington Way based in San Francisco and Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston, have recently piloted the reward feature with incentive offers for their respondents. Each customer distributed surveys to capture important data for their businesses and included a reward in order to encourage participation.

Weddington Way, an online boutique dedicated to bringing style, social, and service to bridesmaid dress shopping launched a survey to gather insights into the shopping behavior and preferences of their customer base. As a reward for their time, brides and bridesmaids were offered a coupon for 20% off a future purchase of a dress.

Citi Performing Arts Center, a non-profit institution dedicated to providing broad-based popular arts and entertainment and arts education programming, launched two promotions for upcoming performances of Cirque Eloize. Citi Performing Arts Center offered customers the chance to win a VIP package to the show, including backstage passes and cast introductions, and offered education program alumni a discount on ticket purchases.
