Our new hub of business apps and integrations is built right into SurveyMonkey and helps you automate workflows and bring survey data into the apps that your team is using. Connect puts your survey responses into action by allowing you to integrate with business apps in SurveyMonkey, without switching between tools while creating your survey or collecting responses.

If you’ve been running surveys in SurveyMonkey, you may already be using some of our 200+ integrations to make the most of your survey insights. Now with Connect, you can set up automated Quick Actions with your business apps based on your survey responses—without leaving SurveyMonkey.

Connect is the easiest way to bring your survey data into the tools your team is using: 

  1. Trigger quick actions based on your survey responses: With Connect, you can automate actions like sending a notification and updating a spreadsheet with each new survey response, or based on specific responses. Think of it like a shortcut to send your data to the right tools and teams. 
  2. Do more with your data: Get richer insights and add context to your survey results by integrating them with existing data in your business tools of choice. 
  3. Collaborate efficiently: Automatically share survey insights right where your team is already working, like Microsoft Teams and Slack.

Connect’s first apps, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Excel, can help automate notifications to critical teams and automatically export survey responses to spreadsheets. Curious how this works? Let’s walk through a scenario.

Let’s say you’re a marketer who recently led a new product demo event. You and your team want to help customers get started as quickly as possible—so in your post-event survey, you include a question asking attendees if they want to speak with a sales rep or need further support before using your product. 

With Connect, you can connect to Slack or Microsoft Teams, and set up the quick action “Post to channel”. In the sidebar settings, you can select which channel new responses will be posted to, and even what type of response is posted. You might send responses from people who said they need support to an internal customer support channel, so that team can quickly address issues. You could also set up a second quick action so that your sales channel in Slack or Microsoft Teams instantly sees responses from attendees who said they want to talk about next steps.   

These actions send notifications to the right teams automatically, so you don’t have to manually check your survey—eliminating manual errors and making your workflows more smooth.

Similarly, our Excel app can be used to automatically add new responses into a spreadsheet. This allows for further analysis and additional workflows, such as exporting relevant survey information into a customer list spreadsheet, and more.
