Palo Alto, Calif., May 8, 2015 – Zander Lurie, a Senior Vice President at GoPro, Inc. and SurveyMonkey board member since 2009, will serve as temporary Executive Chairman of the SurveyMonkey board for a period of three months. In this role, he will support the talented team put together by Dave Goldberg while the board conducts a search for a new CEO.

Zander will continue to fully serve in his role at GoPro during this interim period. Upon the hiring of a new CEO, Zander will remain a board member at SurveyMonkey.

“I am a resource to SurveyMonkey during this transition,” said Zander, “Dave was a strong leader who assembled an extraordinary team that is committed to fully realizing the company’s mission to help people around the world make better decisions with data. ”

“GoPro is honored that one of our own can support SurveyMonkey during this difficult time,” said GoPro President Tony Bates. “We consider this a small opportunity to demonstrate our respect for SurveyMonkey and Dave’s legacy.”
