Bridging purpose through listening: Our 2025 Social Impact Report

What does it take to make social impact part of the everyday decisions that shape a business?

At SurveyMonkey, we believe it starts with listening—and with the commitment to act on what we hear.

Today, I’m proud to share our 2025 Social Impact Report, Bridging Purpose: Inclusion, Impact, and Sustainability. It reflects how we’re continuing to connect our platform, our people, and our partnerships to create meaningful impact for our customers, employees, communities, and the world around us.

Through SurveyMonkey Together, we bring these efforts together. Our approach is insights-driven, values-centered. It’s aligned with how we operate as a business and grounded in a set of priorities that reflect where we can make the greatest difference.

This work is gaining recognition. In 2025, SurveyMonkey earned an Equality 100 Award from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index and was recognized on the Inspiring Workplaces lists for North America and Asia.

But recognition is only one measure of progress. The real measure is what we do—and the people we reach.

Every day, more than 21 million questions are answered on SurveyMonkey across more than 160 countries. Our platform gives organizations a way to hear directly from the people they serve and use that feedback to shape what happens next.

In 2025, we saw this in action.

Every day, more than 21 million questions are answered on SurveyMonkey across more than 160 countries. Our platform gives organizations a way to hear directly from the people they serve and use that feedback to shape what happens next.

In 2025, we saw this in action.

Listen4Good used SurveyMonkey to help more than 1,250 organizations across the U.S. gather feedback from the people they serve and use those insights to improve their programs.

In Jersey, UK, the Birds On The Edge Partnership used community feedback to understand local views on a proposed fence designed to protect puffins from predators. Those voices helped shape the plan, which was approved in May 2025. And in Northern California, Caltrain asked riders what they needed as it planned for extreme weather.

Alongside the impact made possible through our platform, we contributed more than $2.3 million across our giving efforts in 2025. Through SurveyMonkey Contribute, we supported more than 50 nonprofits while helping fuel our SurveyMonkey Audience product, contributing $164,000 in 2025 and more than $17.4 million since 2011.

Inclusion is at the heart of social impact at SurveyMonkey. It means making sure our business functions are part of this work, creating a workplace where people can thrive, and helping ensure people have access to the answers and opportunities they need.

In 2025, our employees put that commitment into action, contributing more than 4,000 hours of their time to communities around the world. Participation in our Week of Service reached its highest level in two years.

We’re also investing in inclusion inside SurveyMonkey.

When we refreshed our corporate values in 2025. More than 200 employees participated in focus groups and pilots during the first quarter, sharing what they needed from our learning programs. We listened and used their input to shape our learning programs. The result was meaningful progress: our organizational health scores improved year over year across all seven key metrics and exceeded our target in five.

Additionally, more than 400 employees participated in our Feedback Foundations workshops, while our real-time feedback score increased 8%.

We’re also investing in the skills and connections that help our global teams thrive. Through LEAD, our manager enablement programs, and our partnership with The Leadership Consortium, 100% of our 2025 cohort reported greater confidence, sharper self-awareness, and stronger business acumen. A new cultural intelligence tool now gives employees Culture Guides covering more than 95 countries, while our employee-led ERGs and DIIGs continue to build community and elevate diverse perspectives.

Bridging purpose also means taking responsibility to help our planet thrive.

In 2025, our total Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions decreased 6% from 2024. We reduced energy consumption and continued to purchase and retire Energy Attribute Certificates equivalent to 100% of our electricity use. Three of our offices hold LEED certifications: Gold in Portland and San Mateo, and Silver in Ottawa.

For us, sustainability is about more than setting goals. It’s about understanding our footprint, measuring progress, and continuing to look for practical ways to reduce our impact.

The work described in this report is connected by a simple idea: social impact has the greatest potential when it is built into and across a business.

That’s what bridging purpose means to us: connecting our business, our people, our platform, and our partnerships to create meaningful impact.

There is still more to do. But I’m proud of the progress our employees, customers, nonprofit partners, and communities made possible in 2025. By continuing to listen, act, and measure our impact, we can keep turning purpose into meaningful change.
