Connector Service-Specific Terms

These Connector Feature Service-Specific Terms (“Connector Terms”) apply if you access or use any SurveyMonkey feature that enables you to connect the Services with a third-party service, model, application, platform, or tool, including through Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connections, protocol-based integrations, hosted connectors, or related connection infrastructure made available by SurveyMonkey (collectively, the “Connector Feature”). These Connector Terms are “Additional Terms” under the SurveyMonkey Terms of Use and “SSTs” under the Governing Services Agreement, as applicable. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the applicable underlying agreement. If your use of the Connector Feature involves SurveyMonkey AI features, the applicable AI Service-Specific Terms also apply to such use.

The Connector Feature is part of the Services. It allows you to enable interoperability between the Services and one or more third-party services supported by SurveyMonkey and enabled by you (“Third-Party Connector Services”). The Connector Feature may include access methods, connection endpoints, authentication flows, protocol support, developer or configuration documentation, and related functionality made available by SurveyMonkey. Third-Party Connector Services are Third Party Services under the applicable underlying agreement.

You may use the Connector Feature only with Third-Party Connector Services that SurveyMonkey makes available through the Services or otherwise expressly approves in writing. Your use of any Third-Party Connector Service is solely between you and the applicable third party and may be subject to separate terms, policies, technical limitations, and fees imposed by that third party.

You are solely responsible for selecting whether to enable a Connector Feature, which Third-Party Connector Service to use, and whether that Third-Party Connector Service meets your legal requirements and is appropriate for your use case.

By enabling or using a Connector Feature, you authorize and instruct SurveyMonkey to facilitate the access, use, transmission, receipt, processing, and return of your Content, Customer Data, account data, configuration data, prompts, instructions, outputs, and other data as necessary to enable the interoperability you request between the Services and the applicable Third-Party Connector Service.You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, notices, and consents necessary for such interoperability and related processing.

You acknowledge that data transmitted through the Connector Feature may be processed by the applicable Third-Party Connector Service in accordance with that provider's terms and policies, and that SurveyMonkey has no control over such processing once data leaves the Services.

You are solely responsible for:

(a) your use of the Connector Feature and any Third-Party Connector Service;

(b) all prompts, instructions, queries, inputs, actions, automations, and requests submitted through the Connector Feature;

(c) reviewing and validating any output, recommendation, summary, code, action, or other result generated, returned, or triggered by a Third-Party Connector Service; you acknowledge that such results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and you agree to evaluate the accuracy and appropriateness of any such result before relying on, acting on, distributing, or implementing it, including by using human review;

(d) your decisions to rely on, act on, distribute, or implement any such result;

(e) compliance with applicable law, your own internal policies, and any terms governing your use of the applicable Third-Party Connector Service; and

(f) any actions taken within the Services by or through a Third-Party Connector Service on your behalf, including changes to your Content, account settings, configurations, or workflows.

You must not use the Connector Feature to submit or expose any data that you are not authorized to disclose or make available for processing through the applicable Third-Party Connector Service.

SurveyMonkey does not control Third-Party Connector Services and is not responsible for their acts or omissions, availability, security, functionality, outputs, accuracy, or continued interoperability with the Services. SurveyMonkey does not make any representation or warranty regarding any Third-Party Connector Service.

You represent and warrant that you have reviewed, and you agree to comply with the terms, conditions, acceptable use requirements, and technical documentation applicable to any Third-Party Connector Service you use with the Connector Feature.

You will not, and will not permit any third party to, use the Connector Feature:

(a) in violation of any applicable law or regulation;

(b) in violation of the applicable third party’s terms, policies, or usage restrictions;

(c) to infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;

(d) to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent content;

(e) in a manner that circumvents usage limits, account restrictions, access controls, or technical safeguards of the Services or any Third-Party Connector Service;

(f) except as expressly permitted by SurveyMonkey in writing, to benchmark, probe, monitor, scrape, or build a competitive analysis of the Connector Feature; or

(g) in a manner intended to create, train, test, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning models, except to the extent such use is expressly enabled by SurveyMonkey in writing.

You must not use, and must not permit any user to use, the Connector Feature to access, process, transmit, export, submit, or store through a Third-Party Connector Service:

(i) payment card data, except through fields, workflows, or functionality expressly intended by SurveyMonkey for that purpose;

(ii) passwords, access credentials, authentication secrets, API keys, or other security credentials for third-party services, except as necessary for supported authentication or authorization flows;

(iii) protected health information; or

(iv) any other highly sensitive personal data or regulated data for which the applicable Connector Feature is not expressly designed, documented, or authorized by SurveyMonkey.

You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Connector Feature is appropriate for the data you choose to transmit or make available.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials, tokens, keys, permissions, and access settings used in connection with the Connector Feature and any Third-Party Connector Service. You are responsible for configuring access appropriately and for promptly disconnecting any Third-Party Connector Service you no longer authorize.

SurveyMonkey may require additional authentication, technical controls, or configuration steps as a condition of access to the Connector Feature.

If your account, subscription, or Services configuration allows administrators or other authorized personnel to enable, disable, manage, configure, or approve a Connector Feature or related permissions for users, you are responsible for those administrative decisions and for the permissions, scopes, settings, configurations, and access granted or approved through them. You are also responsible for ensuring that your administrators and users understand the effects of enabling a Connector Feature, including the data access and actions it may permit.

SurveyMonkey may add to, modify, limit, suspend, disable, or discontinue any Connector Feature, or support for any Third-Party Connector Service, at any time. SurveyMonkey may impose or enforce technical, usage, or rate limits on the Connector Feature.

SurveyMonkey may suspend or disable your access to the Connector Feature if SurveyMonkey believes that your use violates these Connector Terms, the applicable underlying agreement, or applicable law, or creates security, legal, or operational risk for SurveyMonkey, its users, or any third party. SurveyMonkey may log, monitor, and audit activity through the Connector Feature for security, integrity, and compliance purposes.

Upon termination or expiration of your subscription or the applicable underlying agreement, SurveyMonkey may disconnect or revoke any active Connector Feature connections associated with your account.

The Connector Feature and any related interoperability, functionality, outputs, responses, actions, or automations are provided on an as-is basis. SurveyMonkey does not represent or warrant that any Connector Feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or compatible with any particular Third-Party Connector Service, or that any output, recommendation, action, or other result arising from or in connection with a Connector Feature will be accurate, complete, authorized, or fit for your use case. You understand and agree that any material or data obtained through the use of the Connector Feature, and the use of the Connector Feature for any automated actions or workflows, is at your sole risk. SurveyMonkey makes no warranty as to the accuracy, appropriateness, or outcome of any such automated actions, and is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage, or liability arising from such actions, including data loss, errors in data transmission, unintended consequences of automation, or the acts or omissions of any Third-Party Connector Service.

If there is a conflict between these Connector Terms and the applicable underlying agreement, these Connector Terms control with respect to the Connector Feature.
